SHIPBUILDING & SHIP-REPAIR IN INDIA ~ 
 
The fact of the matter and my point remain the same since years. India must build her own technical wisdom to claim her rightful place in Shipbuilding & Ship-repairs. This has immense potential for job and wealth creation. 
 
But the investment and patience levels should be astronomically high. And modern techniques and technology need to be begged from the world leaders.

Happy to be part of the project where we are supervising the newbuilding of 18 x 50kTon MR tankers for Mitsui, Japan on behalf of Synergy Marine, S'pore at Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding in Vietnam since last 3 years.  These are the tanker ships for carriage of IMO Type 2 chemicals which are pretty aggressive.  About 8 ships' Cargo Tanks are coated with the coating made by CMP, Japan - the  Epicon T 2000 , a special coating which makes the ship 'Methanol Ready' for carriage.  Other ships' tanks are coated with Epicon T 800 .    LinkedIN post  - 👇🏻
